People are idiots on Twitter that streams FF14. If this happens to XenosysVex, it can happen to you too. Don't think you are safe when SE can control how you stream. Your rejoicing about his ban is absolutely retarded as fuck and hugely misguided.

@balgannis @LeithValkyrian @XenosysVex they do in ffxiv they have banned form people streaming mods. even hoyo bans if you upload/stream with a mod. he was legit causing witch hunts against those people its not a guess its literally tos and has been there since arr.

I worked as CS on games bigger than XIV, and in my experience, you don't proactively temp. ban any player for 'disparaging remarks'. It would have to go for constant hate speech or worse. And CC require special handling.

I was banned on FFXIV for Aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams. I was not aware the ToS applied to outside of game as long as ANY FFXIV copyright content was visible. I was not given any details about the ban other than that. More details later.

@XenosysVex its literally in tos and all it takes is for you to upset enough people for them to do something about it. wether its right or wrong harrassing and calling people names is something thats there

On a final note I think SE ability to influence how a streamer runs their stream is not right and can be weaponized against streamers. All content creators have hate watchers to some degree and I fear this could be used against streamers people dont like.

@foxwetsitstail You need to play the game 3 or 4 times to get all the details, which is not practical. I 0layed it in front of my ex, it was his first SH experience, I wanted him to get hooked, in the end we both were disappointing, I kept explaining to him that SH games aren't like that

Palworld fans are waiting for the full 1.0 release, and the developers have given a clear update. Pocketpair’s John “Bucky” Buckley spoke to the community after a player complained about too many Discord notifications. Bucky said the next notification will not be about 1.0. “Well, the next notification won’t be about 1.0 either, I’m afraid! You should just assume that Palworld 1.0 isn’t going to be a sudden announcement on Discord in general, tbh… it’s a bit too big of a moment for something like that!” The game launched in Early Access in January 2024 and has had steady updates since then. Last year Pocketpair said version 1.0 will arrive in 2026 as their largest update, with new Pals, big improvements, and better endgame play.

I've seen a rumor that Nintendo will release a new Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave trailer today. Nintendo dropped a Star Fox Direct with almost no notice at 6pm ET, it's possible, but I'm not counting on it. Fortune's Weave is one of my most anticipated 2026 games.
