@moeghashim This didn’t age well, did it?
Selling the domain might increase the revenue, though. 🤔
Jokes aside, thanks for flagging it. We just updated the page!

Build your own Prompt-to-Motion-Graphics SaaS!
Alex Schwad@AlexSchwad
Building a Lovable for... Motion Graphics? Totally doable with @Remotion and the current generation of AI models, but still hard to get right. That's why @JNYBGR and I created an open-source starter kit to get you started building your own product around Remotion and AI✨

Record a run with Strava, then download the .gpx from their webapp.
$ bun create video --blank my-run
$ cd my-run
$ bun i
$ claude
❯ use remotion best practices. turn my run today into an animated instagram story: ~/Downloads/Afternoon_Run.gpx show a map, the route and live metrics for my run. use font sizes that will be legible when user watches as a story
Note that a free Mapbox token is needed. Results may vary and we got lucky with this prompt, but it was our first attempt!

@Remotion W response! Your docs in particular are actually pretty good, you were not the best example to make fun of.

So when platforms publish "skills" like this... they're basically just writing comprehensive documentation that should have been written in the first place, right?
They didn't bother to write it for humans, but they're being nice to the clankers.

Seeing a lot of @remotion prompts scattered across X. So I scraped them, curated them, and put them into an open-source list of community Remotion prompts. Inspired by the Claude skills repo. PRs welcome. Steal freely. Repo 👇 github.com/manalkaff/remo…

Take any screenshot. Then:
$ bun create video --blank news
$ cd news
$ bun i
$ claude
❯ use remotion best practices. import the following image into the project: '~/Desktop/Screenshot
2026-01-31 at 17.15.12.png' use tesseract CLI to do OCR and find the positions of the text. in remotion, make a new composition where you load the image and pad the article generously on a white full HD background. while the composition is running for 5 seconds, slowly, very subtly, zoom into it and slightly rotate the article in 3d from left to right. the overall rotation should be around 15deg for each axis. at the beginning, blur the whole composition and unblur it over 1 second. after the blur is done, evolve a highlighter from left to right using rough.js over the words "government shutdown" and "funding lapses". the image has a white background. make sure the the marker appears behind the text. when installing new dependencies, check for existing lockfiles and use the right package manager.
