@lamnrrr If you take two days on just lineart I can only imagine your fully rendered pieces are divine. That sounds like an excellent price and honestly you could stand to up it. Your work is beautiful I'd say charge no less than 20$ absolutely!!

@LittleMaggsVT Personally I don't want to use AI as a reference for my work because I don't want to learn from an AI image. I don't want to develop bad habits working with AI generated references. I won't refuse service but I would ask for a different reference that doesn't include AI

I have a genuine question.
Why do so many artists turn away people who come with AI references.
If you guys preach that AI is bad and a person is FINALLY coming to a real artist to have their art be drawn, then why reject that person?
It’s ultimately going to make them resent artists and just go back to using AI.

Controversial topic: AI. I think most artists despise AI. This is pretty much clear. But we shouldn’t treat the people who USE AI like they are also slop. They might just be uneducated on how much trouble AI causes. Can we try something like this next time, artists?

I kinda wish vtubers that use vgen frequently knew that 80% of orders tend to be OC art rather than commercial vtuber art... Why would the commercial % be built into the price if someone just wants to commission emotes of their OC for their friend-only server?

You don't have to even draw your reference to make one btw
This one is made with canva and Roblox pictures and I've used it to receive DOZENS of pieces.
Never have I received a complaint from an artist I was looking to commission.

@exisbread @svyraweb If you're incapable of drawing a stick figure in msp or making a Pinterest mood board then just say so. Artists did commissions for centuries before ai, why is it all of a sudden "the only tool some people can use"

@ShibaDraws11 @umr_art It can become real money through devex. Unfortunately you need a minimum of 30K earned robux (meaning not bought yourself or gifted to you) to cash out. And the conversion rate is atrocious. 30k robux is about ~100-120USD.

@fluffedears @SteP__Arts This part!! If you're going to insist on selling slop you have to disclose that you aren't making it with your own hands. Even real artists need to disclose if they used something that isn't made by them like a base
