After years in big tech recruiting, here's what I've learned: The best candidates don't interview well because they're confident. They're confident because they've done the reps. Same with dating. Same with fitness. Same with everything. Competence creates calm. Not the other way around.

I only knew Jeffrey Epstein because of a fundraising relationship with MIT, which I very much regret. In 2019 I told Axios the last meeting I had with him was in 2015 but I was mistaken, as according to calendar entries I have become aware there were additional fundraising meetings in 2016 and 2018. The victims of Epstein’s abhorrent and vile actions deserve all the information they are seeking, and I continue to call on President Trump to deliver that for them.

Have watched companies stack interview hoops higher every year. First it’s tests, then projects, then panel interviews. End result? Top talent bails early, leaving the desperate to grind through. Firms wonder why they’re stuck with average hires.

@HannahDCox There’s also the silent layoffs with RTO. A lot of people aren’t being laid off. They’re being told to relocate or quietly find a new job. That attrition doesn’t show up in the numbers. But it shows up in how bad this actually feels.

I personally know 5 people who've lost their jobs this month alone. I can't remember any other time in my life that was the case except for when I graduated into the Great Recession and all of my friends were at the bottom of the totem pole. It's far worse than your media is telling you.

The richest men in the world are: 75% Entrepreneurs. 15% Investors. 7% Athletes. 3% Artists. 0% Employees. Nobody got rich with a salary. 9-5 is a scam.
