William Braddock, 41, of St. Petersburg, Fla. is accused of making the alleged threats on June 8, 2021 — including one where he threatened to “call up my Russian-Ukrainian hit squad” to take out his rival. Prosecutors did not outright name the victim, but at the time, he was vying against fellow Republican Luna and he was allegedly caught on audio calling the lawmaker a “dead squirrel” and “a f—ing speed bump in the road.”

@sunsopeningband Is Long COVID with PEM/PENE being recognized as COVID induced ME/CFS or is it still being considered a "new" condition? It seems like some patients are making that connection but are researchers? Shouldn't there be ME/CFS research experts on all these teams?

PSA: PEM/PENE is not a standalone symptom. It involves most of the 200+ documented signs and symptoms of Long Covid, usually hiding in plain sight. Chasing individual signs and symptoms will not serve us well in research and clinical practice. That is all.

@sunsopeningband I was surprised yesterday there wasn't more discussion on the apparent link between Long COVID and ME/CFS when studies/research has shown that over 50% of LC patients end up being eligible for an ME/CFS diagnosis due to PEM and other symptoms.

Not talking about PEM? Huh. Someone I know is definitely going to fix that tomorrow. 👀👀👀

@CortJohnson As an audience member with ME/CFS, it was frustrating that there had been no talk or discussion of ME/CFS and PEM until the very end of the day. Studies show that about 50% of LC patients have COVID induced ME/CFS.

#RECOVER #LongCOVID Treatment Conference - Jaime notes that PEM in #MECFS has been mentioned just once today. Davis asserts that PEM must be examined taken very seriously. Jaime- PEM is THE unique aspect of these diseases - however hard it is to study it must be studied more.
