I just found out my sister’s youngest son passed away. His older brother found him and called me hysterical. My sister passed nine years ago. I can’t breathe.💔😭🙏 no 💉 either.
While April 25 is my birthday, April 26 is very significant in my life.
April 26, 1985 - I get my drivers license and that night a bad wreck kills 4 teenagers a few miles north of my house.
April 26, 1986 - I begin my very first paycheck job at the local lumberyard and will work there 11 years. Also the Chernobyl accident happened this day.
April 26, 1999 - we turn the first shovel of dirt for the house we built.
April 26, 2019 - my wife’s last day of work as she retired to help for when the twin grandsons are born.
Appreciate prayer for my husband's family (7 siblings). We'll all be gathering together today to say goodbye to his brother along with his three daughters.
@Pastor_Gabe@farmingandJesus Praying with you, Gabe. A dear friend's mother has dementia and has lost most of her memory but when she is asked, "Who is Jesus?" she immediately responds telling anyone who asks about her Savior.
As I've shared, my dad was diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia in September. He could still name his grandkids then. But he cannot recognize my mom or me now.
As he declines, my prayer is not that he would not forget me or my children. I pray he would not forget the gospel.
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing ...
be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
Revelation 5:12 -13
But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.
For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:20-22
My husband lost one of his brothers to a sudden heart attack this morning. He was his Irish twin - younger by 10 months. Would appreciate prayers for the family.
Number 15 for us today. God’s brought us through some seasons to keep us and get us to 2026. It’s not always a bed of roses, but God gave me a good man in Keith 💜🎉
My heart was heavy today over hostile reactions from people closely connected to me because of my faith. I was reading in Philippians, and was reminded that opposition doesn’t threaten His plan, but is a sign of it—and that greatly encouraged me. Thank you, Lord. 🙏🏻
…in no way alarmed by your opponents—which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God. For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
— Philippians 1:28-29
@slsharron Thank you, Sherri. He's home missing some major med class exams but is thankfully able to make them up. Knowing this boy never misses work or class we know how sick he is. He still has a 103°f temp and rough breathing but doing better.
@RenaeisBorn Just seeing this! Yes! Any type of respiratory virus is dangerous for someone with asthma and more if they have severe asthma. Praying for you son!
