i have done so much for this company and our games
so many late nights
so many weekends
so many live events, and competitive events, and new features, and new seasons
solid performance reviews every time
with multiple people mentioning how critical i am and what an impact i make across multiple teams
just to be thrown out
i don’t get it.

i am genuinely so confused and bewildered
like, i spent the past week debugging the rivalry system while recovering from pneumonia
and just in the past few days i’ve had multiple directors tell me how much they appreciate everything i do

@DylanTGFN Fortnite community can never be happy, they finally make it difficult to succeed in games and thus making wins harder to achieve and more satisfying to get like everyone has asked for YEARS, and people in the comments are still complaining 😭

Seeing a lot of complaints but nobody is acknowledging the real issue people have.
SBMM is the most balanced it’s ever been, people are getting paired with those on their skill level and losing a majority of games for the first time in years.

Have you stopped playing Fortnite as much due to the persistent skill based match making issue? Have you completely stopped playing specifically because of SBMM? Please be respectful and don't lash out at Fortnite, Epic Games or any players or staff with your comment. I want to have a real discussion and hear real constructive feedback @Fortnite @FortniteStatus @JustTeddii PLEASE we need you to respond to the overwhelming outcry from the community about SBMM. It has felt non-existent since the bug season in chapter 6. It felt perfect in Chapter 5. What happened? A LOT of people are playing less or have given up the game completely because they will literally go hundreds of games without being able to get a victory. We the common player want a challenge but also we want to feel like we have a chance. Yes this is a skill issue. I am not good enough to be in the vast majority of lobbies I am put in with Fortnite. I love this game and it breaks my heart to see people leave because of something that could be easily fixed. I look forward to hearing your response.

@evankinney side note but this sounds like it would be a lot of fun, like getting to all sit in a zoom call and watching people play the game online to catch bugs but like at the same getting to see people enjoy what you’ve worked forever on
