RenderCon 2026 is a wrap. Here's what happened in Hollywood. 🧵

The biggest thing surrounding AI and why professionals are against it in production: the lack of flexibility compared to a 3D asset. Barton Damer of @AlreadyBnChewed challenges that by comparing it to a video asset. It doesn't need to be flexible to change every nuance. If you don't like it, you get an alternate shot. "There was even one time where one of the clips, they started getting a little bit hung up on it and we were like, cool, here's 20 more to choose from.
