Wow… $2.55 MILLION. Former Oklahoma State University student Claire Hosterman just got a massive $2.55 million settlement from the City of Stillwater, OK after what they did to her back on September 22, 2022. Around 2 a.m. outside a nightclub, she was arrested for public intoxication. Once inside the Stillwater City Jail, male and female officers held her down and forcibly stripped her completely naked. They left her handcuffed face-down on a bench, crying for 8 minutes while other male officers stood by and watched. She sued the city for unlawful arrest, excessive force, and the illegal strip search. The city council approved the $2.55 million payout in March, judgment was filed in April, news dropped today. Her lawyer said the settlement brings her “some feelings of justice” after the nightmare… but damn, no officers were ever fired or disciplined over it. Video Credit: The Oklahoman (original reel)
