Waiting for your biggest miracle can feel like finally getting your breakthrough, until that same miracle becomes the reason you can’t sleep at night. The irony is heartbreaking.

@VictoriaDailyn Postpartum depression isn’t something you can handle alone Support, rest where possible, and professional help make a real difference. Talking about it is often the first step. I put this together for mothers going through it: selar.com/577a83n319

Postpartum Depression (PPD) Now this one is NOT just “normal emotions.” It’s a serious medical condition. PostPaturm Depression can start anytime within the first year after birth. (Not just immediately after delivery 👀) And it lasts longer than 2 weeks. Persistent sadness or emptiness Loss of interest in things you used to enjoy Extreme fatigue 😴 Feeling like a “bad mother” Difficulty bonding with baby Changes in appetite/sleep And sometimes… Thoughts of harming yourself Or even the baby THIS is an emergency. Get help immediately. Let’s normalize this: Having PPD does NOT mean you’re weak. It does NOT mean you don’t love your baby. It means you need support.

@lorahmoe Support matters, yes. But PPD isn’t only about who you had the baby with. Some women are well-supported and still struggle deeply. It’s not always visible from the outside. What I’ve seen is that many mothers just don’t have the language for what they’re feeling.

“Judge me if you want but I think postpartum depression has a lot to do with who you had the baby with. A supported woman and a neglected woman can experience motherhood very differently.”

If motherhood has felt heavier than expected, you’re not alone. It doesn’t always look like depression. Sometimes it just feels like detachment, guilt, and pressure you can’t name. That’s what this ebook speaks to. Get it here: selar.com/577a83n319

@madam_suzie_ See I’ve heard a lot of stories of how PPD can cause women to do unimaginable things. I studied the data and decided to put a guide together. You’re Not a Bad Mother is a guide helping Nigerian mothers understand postpartum depression, and exactly what to do about it.

Social media is really a leveller. The audacity you people have to say Rihanna is jealous of Tyla. THE RIHANNA? The woman who oozes sexual appeal effortlessly. The Style Icon? The woman who changed the game in POP and Fashion. You guys are really bold on this app
