Inspired by @repmatthall's HEAT plan, so I’ve written my own: The Humane & Ethical Adolescent Transportation plan also known as #HB5514 by @repcavitt that will ensure youth are treated with dignity and care during transport to treatment - something I was not afforded as a teen. ‼️Cheboygan Dam Update Currently crews continue to closely monitor water levels at the Cheboygan Dam. Over the past few days, levels on the Cheboygan River have remained steady at 21 inches below the top of the dam. With rain forecasted in the near future, this remains a concerning situation. Should the water rise to 12 inches below the top, an emergency action plan is ready to be implemented to protect public safety. I’m glad that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and EGLE are taking this situation seriously and deploying teams to help shore up the dam. The Cheboygan County Emergency Management team, along with State Police resources, are also in place and ready to respond if needed. #cheboygan #dam #Michigan
