@CMerandi I was ruin by Sublocade, part of a Guinea pig pop.- I switched to subutex, I’m tapering slowly, im having a hard time getting off, at 1 mg. Unfortunately the Sublocade shot built up in me over 5 yrs. W/ drawl cud b mos.-yrs(no informed consent) I am scared cuz it’s still in me
The Rx crackdown and fallout is like the Apostle’s Creed of this anti-medical technology cult. They can’t go one day without referencing the Sacklers or their hatred of that class of meds. Not once will they mention the ppl that benefit. That’s why this isn’t really a patient-centered movement. @CMerandi
@CMerandi @DavidESmitty I went into an interventional pain clinic being able to walk with my prosthetic leg and I left without ever being able to walk again bedbound. Now in palliative care. I'm 42, amputee. I'm ready to share my story
@influenya @CMerandi All opioids are safe when used appropriately. Buprenorphine is found in many overdoses but never on its own. So the argument that it prevents overdose doesn't hold water, but nobody is dying from acute buprenorphine intoxication.
@CMerandi OxyContin has zero real opioids in it. It's 💯 synthetic.
@CMerandi Pain medication can be a life saver absolutely in the short term especially. But in the long term the side effects can be deadly too. Really the best is heroin my gp said because it not only dulls pain it relaxes the brain muscle, smoothing its wrinkles out improving it.
