Working people need an affordable place to settle down to raise a family. I want to make Florida that place once again. I held a roundtable on housing affordability to hear directly from local leaders and residents. I’ll take what I heard to Washington and fight for solutions.

Mifepristone was safe when the FDA approved it years ago and still is today. I'm relieved access has been restored for now. The Supreme Court must reverse these unnecessary restrictions on reproductive healthcare. I'll fight until reproductive freedom is accessible to all.

With costs way too high and the American Dream feeling out of reach, our tax dollars are spent caging law-abiding immigrants in horrific conditions. We could invest this money in countless other ways to make life more affordable. Instead, Republicans waste it on cruelty.

TPS recipients don't get any handouts. They pass background checks, earn work permits and pay taxes. They only came for a better life. The Supreme Court must take action to stop Trump from condemning them to the dangerous conditions they fled.

While costs go up for working families, Republicans give billionaires massive tax cuts. How did they afford it? By gutting Medicaid, raising monthly insurance premiums on millions of families, slashing food assistance, and adding trillions to the federal debt.

Happy Haitian Heritage Month! Haitian Americans are the heart of South Florida. They build our economy as entrepreneurs, teachers, and care providers, in spite of vicious, racist attacks from Republicans. I'll always fight for my Haitian neighbors' right to the American dream.

This is a devastating, avoidable outcome. I urged President Trump to help Spirit and preserve thousands of jobs and low-cost travel. The energy crisis he caused has instead handed more job losses and higher prices to an already-struggling Florida economy. I'll do all I can to help families impacted by this.

Republicans finally caved to end their ridiculous DHS shutdown. Now we'll pay TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA, and other vital agencies while we keep fighting to overhaul ICE. Democrats held the line and won’t give an inch when fighting to protect our communities from being terrorized.
