The scale of fraud we saw in Minnesota is flat-out unacceptable. A House Oversight Committee report confirmed what we already suspected: Governor Tim Walz and other state officials knew about the fraud in Minnesota as early as 2019 and looked the other way while billions of your hard-earned taxpayer dollars were stolen. Turning a blind eye to fraud is just as bad as committing it. That's why I joined my Minnesota GOP colleagues in introducing the FRAUD Act. Our bill ensures no future state official can let this happen again by: - Enforcing a 180-day deadline for state officials to report credible federal fund fraud to the FBI. - Imposing criminal penalties on officials who knowingly cover up or ignore fraud. - Stripping federal funding eligibility from states that refuse to comply. - Banning convicted officials from overseeing federal funds again.

🚨Just introduced the Diesel Engine Flexibility Act! Farmers, truckers, and equipment operators shouldn’t be sidelined by faulty DEF sensors or unnecessary engine shutdowns. The DEF Act puts the EPA’s updated guidance into law for the next 10 years, giving manufacturers, equipment, owners and independent technicians the certainty they need.

Tomorrow we recognize 250 years of American independence! With 1 day left until this historic anniversary, I want to highlight 1 reality the Working Families Tax Cut prevented: without this legislation, the 2017 tax cuts would have expired, hitting families with a staggering tax hike.
