✅ JUST PASSED: The Sunshine Protection Act It’s time to lock the clock. Twice a year, Americans have to disrupt their daily lives, springing forward and falling back an hour. The Sunshine Protection Act ends that for good, meaning there's more light at the end of the day for people to exercise outdoors, return safely from school, and attract customers to their retail businesses.

I had a productive meeting with the team at the Green-Taylor Water District to discuss my ongoing efforts to obtain federal funding for critical upgrades to infrastructure as part of the FY27 appropriations process and get an update on their work providing water to homes, businesses and agriculture in Green County.

Every dollar lost to Medicaid fraud is a dollar stolen from the vulnerable Americans the program is meant to serve. @HouseCommerce and the @WHFraudTF are helping crack down on the waste, fraud, and abuse draining Medicaid — and holding bad actors accountable.

This project, funded by federal, state, and local funding, will help provide a more reliable and consistent supply of water to thousands of rural residents!
