I’m going to continue to show up to protect us, to protect the people of the 10th Congressional District, of New Jersey, and of this country. Because we need protection, and we have to continue to hold this administration accountable.

Women stand in the gaps—we always have. We will keep standing against the lawlessness that Donald Trump is bringing down on this country. That’s why I was honored to address leaders at the @nwlc who are championing this fight.

We will keep fighting to stop ICE from establishing another detention center in New Jersey. I stand with @GovSherrillNJ— taking legal action to stop the Roxbury warehouse plan is part of protecting our community.

Last May at Delaney Hall, @RepLaMonica, @RepMenendez, and I saw the conditions of a rushed job to open a new detention facility. The next month, 4 detainees escaped. I'm grateful that our Governor and @NewJerseyOAG are taking action to enforce the law and ensure the safety of residents and detainees.

We fought hard to secure millions of federal dollars so soccer fans can enjoy the World Cup—they should not be intimidated by immigration enforcement.

Eid Mubarak to all who observe in NJ-10! After a month of fasting, I hope this Eid Al-Fitr brings joy and time well spent with loved ones.

Fans from around the world and across the country will travel to NJ to watch the World Cup and @homelanddems are working to keep them safe—both at the event and from DHS recklessness. I introduced a bill to make sure state and local law enforcement can actually focus on keeping fans safe, instead of being caught up in Trump’s targeting.

Last Sunday, a kid from Newark reminded NJ-10 of the greatness that comes right out of our hometown.  On the House floor, I congratulated @michaelb4jordan on his Academy Award win for his role in Sinners.

The Small Business Administration should serve every community, red, blue, and in-between. And we have to hold them accountable when they don’t. Today in @HSBCDems, I questioned an SBA administrator about why only Republicans are getting a seat at their tables.

When they try to silence us, we only come back louder. I'm grateful and relieved that Leqaa Kordia has finally been released and can go home to NJ. None of this should've ever happened just because Leqaa exercised her right to free speech. This admin must be held accountable.

The road to the World Cup should be paved with goals, not traffic. I’m making sure fans have a safe and affordable ride to the big game with an over $10 million grant toward NJ public transportation from USDOT⚽.

An attack on a synagogue is an attack on religious freedom in this country. I’m horrified by the violence at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Antisemitism must be confronted wherever it appears. No one should be met with fear when they enter their house of worship.

NJ-10’s leaders were out for my state of the district address this week! I’m proud to be your voice in Washington, and it only works because I am listening to you and hearing from you right here in the district.
