@LeeConger2 Rewrote it minutes later as I couldn't edit changes I wanted to make in my original paragraph and so reposted with clearer comments. Don't see how that's fraud when posting on my personal account and rewriting a paragraph.

Each of the electeds who spoke were poignant and appear focused on being unified in support their community. All three of the local legislators provided solace as did the other electeds from the Governor to federal reps. The Military Dept was there and their team are solid in state disaster response. And, it goes with out saying the first responders were responsive to questions and information. Hearts and prayers go out to those who lost a family member or are impacted. Such a tragic day for those communities.

Fascinating lecture with civil discourse at @UW tonight
Great presentation by Dr. Brandy Shufutinsky on Antisemitism in K-12 schools and higher education
Too bad the professors from the Middle East Studies Department weren't here for it

Something struck me tonight as I entered a building at UW to attend a lecture/presentation in one of their buildings. There was security at the door. Two armed officers greeted me and opened the door as I entered. That is not the norm and atypical. The difference is that the presentation was on challenges our Jewish folks face in today's environment and have faced for some time. This is not something we should accept as normal. It's not and demonstrates the dangers or threats our Jewish Washingtonians face just doing regular daily activities. It's concerning on so many levels and must be for all of us if we are to make any real changes.

Attended an interesting presentation on antisemitism tonight @UW. While a provocative title, the content of the conversation was not. In fact, it highlighted the actions that need to be taken in both spaces to ensure students feel safe and able to engage without fear. Unfortunately, that is not the reality right now for students or staff alike. Appreciated the opportunity to learn.

Glad to read this. I just did a tour of Lumen Field that had a public safety focus on how they are mitigating general risks as well as learn about their efforts to address efforts of trafficking that uptick during these events. I serve on the related State's Task Force Against Trafficking of Persons and we must be focused not just now but always and get good work done.

@JeremyHarrisTV @komonews The Islands are so beautiful. I used to live on San Juan as a child and the entire region is gorgeous.

A few weeks ago, a signal from another TV station started interfering with our tower on Orcas Island. We sent a crew out to investigate. They checked on the tower with our drone and in the process captured some really cool video of the area.

@jtwilcox111 So love our ports and take every opportunity to support them and their good work. Congrats on Tacoma receiving the environmental stewardship award for the cleanup. Always happy to support Port of Tacoma efforts.

The Wilcox Farms board spent 3 days in Montana visiting with staff and growers. Our largest of 6 processing plants is in Great Falls. Besides our outside board members we had Wilcox's from farm generations 3, 4, 5 and 6 along. Staff and partners want to know we are committed for the long run and bringing 4 generations is a pretty good proof of committment. Also spoke with some very large shippers of grain who depend on our ports.

Solemn ceremony today in the 28 in Lakewood sponsored by the Pierce veterans advisory committee. Grateful to see all who came out in the wind, cold and rain and took the time to recognize the sacrifice given. #28thLDStrong

Another poignant ceremony honoring our fallen in the 28 at Clover Park High School at the Arlington Project. Comments by those who spoke reminded us of why we remember. The student led music and color guard were exemplary. #28thLDStrong @CloverParkSD
