@PubliusDB I am a docent and I love talking about this beautiful room. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court doesn’t use the room much anymore because the room capacity is only 65. Most of the business is done at the Matheson Courthouse downtown.

Guys. I figured out why there’s resistance to expanding the Utah Supreme Court. There are only 5 seats in the court at the Capitol. Where are they going to put the extra justices?

@SenMikeLee Mike Lee, who claims to be a Constitutional scholar, needs a make up course on the system of checks and balances as set up by our Constitution. Somehow, he missed it. He is a constant embarrassment to Utahns.

If judges want to make policy, they can run for elected office. Otherwise, they should stick to interpreting the law and issuing judgments in the cases before them. Nothing more, nothing less.
