After much hard work, I’m thrilled to celebrate the passage of my National Heritage Area Act, a bill to ensure the long-term sustainability of these key economic drivers. My thanks to @RepMcKinley and all those whose fierce advocacy helped push this bill across the finish line!
Today, I delivered a speech to honor my very good friend, @RepMcKinley. David, thank for your fearless advocacy on behalf of WV, the difference you have made in our state that we both love, and the friendship and council you have provided me over the years.
My family’s American dream started in a Clarksburg, WV coal mine, so this picture hits home. From what I’ve been told, after his shift, he raced to be with his son & watch our team. Don’t know who this is, but I have tickets for him & his family at Rupp to be treated as VIPs!!
