It is my honor to congratulate Avery Kittle of Steubenville High School on winning the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. Avery’s piece, “America 250,” captures the spirit of our nation and will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol for one year. This is a well-deserved honor and a reminder of the incredible young people we have right here in Ohio’s 6th District.

At today’s @HouseCommerce hearing, I spoke on H.R. 8430, the bipartisan Federal and State Food Safety Information Sharing Act of 2026, which I co-lead with @RepDeborahRoss. The bill breaks down barriers so FDA can more rapidly share critical food safety data with state and local partners, strengthening coordination and helping deliver faster protections for American families against foodborne threats.
