Thanks to our hardworking @FRYSC_JCPS & Neighborhood Place for hosting the Back to School Bash at Hazelwood Elementary this weekend! Over 1000 students and families received backpacks with school supplies, vaccinations, lunches, and connections to vital community resources.

Thanks to @NatIrvinII & Dr. Sharon Kerrick for inviting me to be a guest judge for @UofLbiz Digital Transformation Academy! These young JCPS leaders had truly impressive business ideas, ranging from youth mental health and postpartum wellness to smart scrubs for doctors & nurses.

Excited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Iroquois Senior Living Community, which will provide high quality, affordable housing for seniors. This is a much needed investment in District 40's Hazelwood Neighborhood!

Thanks @TinaForKentucky for this thorough explanation of the injunction granted to @ACLUofKY by Judge Hale, which temporarily blocks the ban on health care providers from performing gender-affirming care for transgender children.

We passed nearly 200 bills during #GA23, with most of those going into effect this week, including sports betting, delta-8 regulation, skilled games ban & SB150 (ban on gender-affirming care, parts of which have been blocked by a federal judge).
