On this International Day of Democracy, we reaffirm that democracy flourishes when it is truly inclusive, when women are granted equal opportunities to participate fully in the political process, & when the voices & vision of youth are empowered to shape the future. True representation lies at the heart of a just & resilient society 🗳️ As we look ahead to the various elections in @OSCE participating States in the coming weeks, we would like to commend and thank @osce_odihr for its transparent, independent & impartial work in election observation. Their standard-setting analyses & valuable recommendations help to strengthen the credibility of democratic processes as well as #free & #fair elections in our countries. #DemocracyDay #InternationalDayofDemocracy
