Today on Memorial Day, I had the honor of visiting the Historic Union Cemetery to pay my respects to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Walking among these headstones is a reminder that freedom isn’t free. God bless our fallen heroes. We will never forget.

🚨California issued this driver a commercial driver’s license in March 2025🚨 In February of this year, I issued a rule to stop unqualified, untrained foreign drivers like this accused killer from getting CDLs to drive on America’s roads. RIGHT NOW: @FMCSA investigators are looking into how this illegal got his CDL and will investigate the trucking company who employed this driver. Dalilah’s law would have revoked this illegal trucker’s license. Congress must pass Dalilah’s Law NOW.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that the semi truck driver arrested for killing two people in a hit & run crash near Sacramento, CA yesterday is an Indian illegal alien who was caught & released at the AZ border by the Biden admin in 2023. His name is Manvir Singh, and he is now facing charges in San Joaquin County, CA for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and hit & run resulting in death. He allegedly tried to flee the scene on foot after the crash. ICE has placed a detainer on him with local law enforcement. This is the fourth Indian illegal alien truck driver with the last name “Singh” that we’ve covered who has been arrested for killing innocent people in crashes around the country, going back to last year. No details on his CDL yet, or if he even has one. More to come.

I led the Dalilah Law to stop illegal immigrants from operating trucks on American roads. How many tragedies must we see of Americans hurt or killed by illegal immigrants with CDLs? Those who can't read signs on our highways or understand the rules of the road have no business getting behind the wheel of an 80,000-pound truck. Thank you for talking about the critical importance of Dalilah’s law, @SecDuffy. Too many families have experienced unimaginable pain from these preventable tragedies.

$18+ BILLION in unemployment debt. Automatic payroll tax hikes on CA businesses. All because of Gavin Newsom's reckless mismanagement. My CAL Repayment Act puts an end to this and stops Newsom & Sacramento Democrats from forcing businesses to foot the bill for their negligence.

For years, the Tulare Skate Park and the historic Tulare Women’s Club have been important community spaces, but outdated ownership restrictions have prevented the City from making long-overdue improvements. That’s why I’m proud to introduce the Tulare Youth Recreation and Women’s History Enhancement Act alongside @RepVinceFong, which would authorize the sale of two parcels of lands from Union Pacific Railroad to Tulare County to restore the City Skate Park and historic Tulare Women’s Club. I appreciate Union Pacific’s partnership in helping move this solution forward, and I look forward to seeing these sites continue to serve Tulare families and preserve the community’s history for years to come. My CAL Repayment Act ends Gavin Newsom’s disastrous mismanagement of unemployment insurance. CA is the only state that hasn’t repaid its federal UI debt. Instead of paying what we owe, Newsom has blown billions on fraud & waste while businesses foot the bill. Enough is enough.
