One thing lost from the US debate on Israel is the background on how the vast majority of Israel's physical neighbors want to destroy it (and have tried). Not "Canadians don't like Americans" style but more... "we hope to kill every single one of you and remove your country from existence" style hate. Iran, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, southern Lebanon, Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, most of Northern Africa oh and nuclear Pakistan. Imagine if Mexico, Canada, every Caribbean country and the Atlantic ocean wanted Americans dead. And America was the size of Vermont. And for decades was sending suicide bombers and firing missiles into America. We can debate Israel's aggressive response, but lost is the day to day situation Israel finds itself in for the last 50 years.

@strxwmxn It is legal under American law for anyone to move to the West Bank. It is also legal under Israeli law. There is no such thing as “international law” for organizations and individuals.

This is horseshit. Even if this org’s entire mission is to aid in settling Jews in the West Bank (not by a long shot), it wouldn’t be bound by international law, which overwhelmingly applies to state actors, not NGOs. Calling Yonah a kapo would be a compliment. Kapos were largely coerced.
