“If you refuse to use the c4” was so stinkin cute though. I never even do what hinted at refusing to use it. It’s always so funny to see how mentally weak the cope of Helldivers has made people so their default move is always to go to fantasy land and lie about what other people said so that their point can exist.

The crazy thing about this is this comparison of a backpack support weapon and grenade continues after it was pointed out how blatantly dumb that logic is. One is a grenade. One is a backpack and support weapon. Screw your head on hire a brain cell and realize how stupid it is to compare the two.

Thoughts On Giga-Grenade ❓

It’s crazy how much fiction you had to project right here. Not sure what the dad comment was in relation to. And I never even said thermite was better. I just pointed out how people are saying it’s better than the thermite when thermites offer utility that no other grenade can. And while it boasts a horde clear comparable to some of the explosive grenades. Arc/gas/pyro/incendiary are significantly better for that with incomparably better ammo economy. But ffs I just wish once the Helldivers didn’t have to spin out into writing fantasies about people when they point out facts. It’s insane behavior.

@ReplyGuy4Life @WombatTheWomboi @HelldiversAlert Dude, my Dad wasn't great either, but maybe don't take it out on this guy. Giga has more utility (can take out groups) and faster delivery of damage. And it had a trade off of less ammo for that versitility. You prefering the Thermite doesn't make the Giga bad.

But see this is where the Helldivers are exposing themselves because it cannot do the things a thermite can do. For example clearing ships with no shield removal. And I’m just not gonna give a grenade the pass for horde clear with that ammo economy. Gas/arc/pyrotech/dynamite offer the same horde clear advantage with an incomparably better ammo economy. It’s not even like I don’t like the giga made it’s just people are claiming it’s better than the thermite then immediately using reasons that prove that they have no clue what the thermite does. You just provided a wonderful example of that behavior here.

@ReplyGuy4Life @HelldiversAlert Thermite is great for killing big enemies and objectives but sometimes it bounces off enemies and its bad at horde clearing. The giga is better imo bc it can do more things than the thermite can do and still does almost everything efficiently. No hate on thermite tho tbc

The hilarity would come from all the self killing because ever since accuracy tuning bots have just not felt as fun to me. Sometimes downright unbearable. Even the jet brigade which was my favorite faction just doesn’t feel as good as a couple months ago. I hope they find some middle ground. Accuracy boost is whatever but every unit can ragdoll.

And we can all agree that comparing a grenade to a support backpack weapon is a wildly dumb response to somebody comparing 2 grenades right? You should. @MattisRedacted The a10 mythos doesn't really work in reality. It's primary job is to fire at vehicle columns and light armor buildings. It's fairly useless for all other applications.

So you confirmed you see the low iq play regularly. That’s wild because I’ve played with some DUMB divers and I never have that issue with thermites. But I do see where it comes from. Comparing a grenade to a stratagem was silly. Let’s compare it to a secondary. (But not mention the ultimatum?). In a grenade vs grenade comparison this logic explains why uniquely dumb stuff happens in lobbies you’re playing in.

@ReplyGuy4Life @HelldiversAlert I don't use the thermite regularly. When I see an enemy stuck by one, I try not to shoot it, unless I have to. I do however see enemies stuck with thermites all the time being killed before the explosion even goes off. If I want a weapon to kill spawners I use grenade pistol.

I mean you clearly are if you’re throwing it at enemies that get killed frequently enough before it explodes. I’ve played the game long enough to know factually that people don’t typically shoot enemies with thermites but you said it like it’s regular. Maybe you’re playing with some far below average intelligence people? We are comparing a grenade and a stratagem. You can’t complain about grenade explosion time then compare it to a stratagem. Maybe the iq assumption I had checks out?
