Today, on U.S. Memorial Day, we honor the American troops who risked their lives for their country 🇺🇸🕯️

George Floyd deserves to be buried in Arlington Cemetery with the rest of America’s fallen heroes.

Six years later, the pain of losing George Floyd still echoes across this nation. His death forced America to confront painful truths about policing, accountability, and the value of Black lives in this country. George Floyd should still be here. His family should still have their brother, father, and loved one. While his name became a symbol heard around the world, we must never forget the human life behind the movement. The fight for justice did not end with a verdict. It continues in courtrooms, communities, and conversations across America as we continue demanding accountability, equality, and lasting change. Say his name: George Floyd. Rest in power.

Grateful for those who died defending our freedom which we cherish every day. It is what defines us as a nation. It is precious and does not come without cost. I pray we never take their sacrifice nor the liberty they fought for granted on this and all Memorial Days. 🇺🇸🙏🏻
