@vr_tonio I mean yes that's true but the token cost of executing all of these aggregation tasks has got to be pretty stupid. Several hours of podcast transcripts has got to be a beefy context window Of course now that I say this, I feel compelled to try both methods

@ReserveList I built this in 2024 and at the time Airtable was best bang for buck. The APi has a ton of features. In 2026, a ClawBot could maintain the table for ya. In the end, the goal is to cross reference the weekly haul of transcripts. What u thinking?

@ReserveList Hell yeah! This is just a joke. If come back on Labor Day to win actually worked we'd all be mega rich 😉 It's a midterm year and Trump is hell bent on juicing stonks. I do think semiconductor whales are up big time already... Why risk it into midterms? Take them gainz

@philosophymeme0 I once saw Slavoj Žižek at a Border’s store in Virginia. He was outside, eating a giant can of corn with a fork. ... Told me to “respect his intolerance of my over-proximity” and winked both eyes. Later he was asleep outside covered in corn, swarmed by seagulls. Shoes, gone.

@ManchesterUtd81 Okay but do you remember anyone's name on the show? Do you remember any other details from the show? Like if you were to guess what podcast subcategory it would be placed under

It’s a bullshit study and really bad science. They tested 25 women with a bunch of different tests in dehydrated or hydrated states. The dehydration made *no difference to objective tests*. A couple of the other subjective survey results showed small differences, but these are misleadingly presented to make them seem higher than they are. Either way the subjective feelings had no impact on performance. The “58% harder” or “45% more difficult concentrating” results are annoying. The tasks were all basically rated as “easy” by everyone: hydrated people rated the tests as 2/10 difficulty, dehydrated rated them as 3/10 difficulty (even though they actually performed exactly the same as the hydrated group). This is a standard trick this sort of bad study uses: using a big scale with all the results clustered at one end makes very small absolute changes seem large as percentage differences. They also specifically mentioned that the study participants drank Volvic brand water to hydrate. Funny, that.
