Most nicotine users have no idea what their habit has actually cost them. See your number — and get early access to the quit program launching this summer. respiro.care/nicotine-cost

There’s a pill that cuts nicotine cravings by ~50%. Almost nobody uses it. respiro.care

@TrenchyMonkey 3 vapes a week for 1 year: $221/month. $2,650/year. That's 7 round-trip flights, 19 months of your electric bill, or $36,614 invested over 10 years.

@spunosounds 20-25 Zyns a day is not a habit. That’s a hostage situation. That’s 100mg+ of nicotine daily, the receptor rebound is brutal. Day 1 is the hardest, stay strong! respiro.care

1 full day nicotine free. I was dead ass using like 20-25 zyns a day, stupid addicted. Today was pretty brutal. I legit had a histamine reaction and my whole body was itching today. Also my energy levels are just so chopped, took like 4 mini naps. one day at a time 🙏

This is exactly why the quit window matters. Varenicline works at the same receptor level — binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the VTA and nucleus accumbens, partially activating them to ease withdrawal while blocking nicotine's full dopamine hit. The younger you quit, the more of that development you protect.
Paul Saladino, MD@paulsaladinomd

Nictotine use in young adulthood is associated with higher rates of substance use later in life, depression and poorer impulse control.

400mg is extraordinary — that's the equivalent of nearly 40 cigarettes worth of absorbed nicotine daily. Day 5 is the hardest stretch. The acute withdrawal peaks around 72 hours and starts easing after day 4-5. You're through the worst of it. Keep going.
Kai@edge_of_obsess

Day 5 without nicotine. I can smell again. Each snus/Ice pouch contains 16-22mg of nicotine. I used a pack of 25 pouches daily… 400mg of nicotine a day. No wonder my sleep was affected. Stay away from Satan's alley.

Nicotine the molecule isn't the problem. Dependency is. When you need it to feel baseline normal, when skipping a pouch ruins your afternoon, when you're planning your day around your next hit — that's not a multi-vitamin. That's a trap. The strongest guys know the difference.

What is the obsession with “quitting” nicotine That’s like “quitting” drinking water Nicotine is essentially a multi-vitamin Cigarettes are a performance enhancing drug Why would you QUIT? Mfs neutering themselves because some doctor said smoking is bad
