I like Dembélé and it’s been really nice seeing his career blossom since leaving Barça and it fills me with immense joy that he’s having a better career than Mbappé in terms of trophies and individual awards. However I find it a bit pathetic how his season essentially started in March, he only has 9 league starts / 930 minutes played in Ligue 1 in May yet he’s currently odds on favourite to win the Ballon D’or. I feel like the Ballon D’or should be given to the BEST player over the course of a season not the best player of the team that won the Champions League.

Rashford doesn’t moan about his limited game time he just gets his head down and keeps it moving. 27 G/A in his first season outside of England in only 2400 minutes played in all comps is incredible.
