I’m going to build a tool to automate cold outreach for email, get it to $1k MRR, and sell it on @acquiredotcom for $50k. It’ll be a great small project to build up my web dev skills and project management skills. I’ll be investing a few thousand into getting an initial MVP built. From their I’ll take over the development, marketing, and sales myself. This thread will be used to share updates as well as on @IndieHackers. I’ve built newsletter referral SaaS in the past which I invested about $12k and ended up selling it for $25k. This project will be the next step. Follow me to follow along 🧙‍♂️

Great growth for @gummy_search over the past month, even hit my first 100 signup day yesterday Lots of things lining up, mostly SEO kicking in and some great affiliates spreading the word 2024 is going to be a good one!

@JensLennartsson @beehiiv I think Substack does have some sort of directory. You could always start using directories like InboxStash which does have a big list.

If you were to find, let's say, @beehiiv newsletters that have been inactive for a while (like 3+ months), how would you go about doing that? Asking for a friend.............

@JensLennartsson @beehiiv Nice I love the name! You could do a manual process by searching Substack and Beehiiv. If they haven’t sent a newsletter for a few months, reach out to them?

So, I launched TinySquare . co today (a marketplace for inactive newsletters). I want to find inactive newsletters, and reach out to the owner to ask if they want to put them up for sale :) If I know which newsletter, I can check the past posts. But I need to find the newsletters somehow :)

Man growing a newsletter is hard! What are some good ideas to grow your list without just spamming DMing on Twitter?

Best place to buy logos for side projects? @Logobly was my go to but it’s sadly not working anymore.

@Shpigford Send to Coinbase, you can just simply sell ENS there. I remember selling mine right when it launched.

I asked ChatGPT to come up with a name for my marketplace for small newsletters. Which one should I go with? Have a better suggestion?
