This is my take on No. 1 player in the 2026 class, Tyran Stokes. I don’t think he’s in any rush to decide between Kentucky and Kansas Jayhawks. A lot will come down to Bill Self and whether he returns or steps away due to health. On top of that, Stokes is likely watching the portal closely. Who are these programs targeting? Who are they landing? If one school is loading up at SF, why would he go there? #BBN

Most Parents won’t admit it but their kid is on a travel team because they get along with the other parents. I came to Florida because it was an affordable place to live. Not anymore. Basic necessities are skyrocketing and retirement is increasingly out of reach for folks here — gas, groceries, rent, insurance.

Cal went from struggling to make the tourney and a sweet 16, to top 3 in sec, conference tourney champs and another sweet 16. No shade, pope went backwards. Relying on jq off a torn acl was a long shot at best.

I say this as a Cal fan, I remain unconvinced that Cal has really outperformed Pope. Not defending Pope, it has to get better…but people placing a lot of stock in Arky’s post season run that saw them beat Oklahoma, Miss, Vandy, Hawaii and High Point.
