Beautiful gesture by @Orioles & @DM_Rubenstein to invite WWII & Korean War veteran Arthur Green to throw out the 1st pitch on Opening Day. Our nation owes a huge debt of gratitude to Mr. Green & all veterans.
David M. Rubenstein@DM_Rubenstein

Thanks @ABC @DavidMuir for this sweet and well-deserved story on 109-year-old @Orioles fan Arthur Green, who threw out the first pitch on opening day. Thanks Arthur for your service to America (WWII and Korean War) and your support of the Os. abcnews.com/video/13145179…

@tommystallion37 @KevG163 Numerous factors led to Colts' departure, including the following. Memorial Stadium was a baseball stadium, Orioles had precedence in scheduling & use of facilities, roaches infested locker room & offices, no security, no maintenance (e.g., no heat), etc. None were addressed.

@KevG163 This book 📖 is also a great read about what lead up to the move to Indianapolis!

March 28, 1984 THE COLTS LEAVE BALTIMORE Cloaked in the darkness of the snowy pre-dawn night, 15 Mayflower moving trucks depart the #Colts' team headquarters in Owings Mills, Maryland. After over 30 years as a fixture in Baltimore, the Colts franchise makes its controversial move to Indianapolis. NFL Films' Ed and Steve Sabol, along with former Colts players Tom Matte, Lenny Moore, and Joe Ehrmann, take a look back at "The Old Grey Lady of 33rd Street" — #Baltimore's Memorial Stadium — and the special bond that existed between a team and a community.

Powerful: Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion on why he decided to talk to the media at the NFL combine despite having a stutter. “I want to be a role model for those who are not able to speak in front of large crowds.” KC is a true role model ❤️👏

@ronNcaphill @uptonbell @ProFootballHOF Actually, we've been suggesting a funeral home sponsorship for some time. Senior candidates shouldn't have to campaign for consideration. Restrictions on the # of senior inductees constitute discrimination based on age. Where is @AARP ?!

Can someone put in contact with KC Conception. My name is Derwin Gray. I played in the NFL and I too am a stutterer. Despite my stuttering, I'm a pastor of a church and I speak all over the world. KC, I'm proud of you!

Terrible: People have been making fun of Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion for the way he spoke while answering questions at the NFL combine. KC has a speech impediment and has been stuttering his whole life. Give him praise, not negativity ❤️👏

@uptonbell Yet @ProFootballHOF has no requirement for voters to research candidates. HOF's senior candidate Al Wistert played for @Eagles from 1944-1951, before most senior voters were born. Yet senior category includes players who retired as recently as 2000 (w/ 24/7 media exposure).

@RetiredNFLers Most fans today don’t know or care very much about the past. Gambling has taken over as well their own teams. How many know who Jim Brown or Deacon Jones or Lenny Moore or Otto Graham or Concrete Charlie Bednarik is??

My uncle had a severe stuttering problem and grew up to become an accomplished surgeon. My mom always reminded me and my brother of it to show us ... 1) Your shortcomings can, in time, make you stronger. 2) Everyone should be treated with respect. Love this from Concepcion 👇
Carter Karels@CarterKarels

Former Texas A&M receiver KC Concepcion opened up on Instagram about his speech impediment — ending the message with #StopTheNegativity — in the wake of the attention he received at the NFL Combine over the weekend.
