Memorial Stadium was a baseball stadium, Orioles had precedence in scheduling & use of facilities, roaches infested locker room & offices, no security, no maintenance (e.g., no heat), etc. None were addressed.

@uptonbell Yet @ProFootballHOF has no requirement for voters to research candidates. HOF's senior candidate Al Wistert played for @Eagles from 1944-1951, before most senior voters were born. Yet senior category includes players who retired as recently as 2000 (w/ 24/7 media exposure).

@RetiredNFLers Most fans today don’t know or care very much about the past. Gambling has taken over as well their own teams. How many know who Jim Brown or Deacon Jones or Lenny Moore or Otto Graham or Concrete Charlie Bednarik is??
