One of my favorite things about the Gorillaz short film is how slow and meditative it is. It's a direct rebellion—not only against AI slop—but also of the TikTok-ification of visual mediums. Everything needs to be quick, snappy, and going as fast as possible for maximum virality

So yeah, I couldn’t help but get emotional when I knew it was coming to an end. But so does all good things and I had a good time and want to do it again next year

But going to this con help idk it reignited why I love to draw? It gave me a bright reminder that the ppl who enjoy my work actually exist in meatspace and I’m not just posting my stuff into the void. That so many ppl actually recognized me and my art and it felt so validating

I should probably preface this by saying yes, this is about post-con depression and how it hit me like well… a train when I was on my way back home. I had a truly amazing experience at FC this year and I have all my friends to thank for that
