Unpopular opinion. If Madonna is truly considering whether to tour or work on her Netflix biopic, I choose the bio. Let’s get that story straight from her heart. We’ve had many tours and she can go back on the road and reinvent touring in a few years time.

@insidethegroove But she could get more accomplished scriptwriters and directors to bring it to the screen under her watchful eye? I think it’s more important that she continues to create, and a biopic seems to me to be to be more akin to curating than creating. Just my opinion, of course.

@RetroPopBoy But the whole point is that only she can tell her story. She’s not going to delegate that.

11 years ago, I suggested to @mikestockmusic and @suzettecharles_ that they should record again. Today sees the release of the album they’ve recorded and I’m so happy. I hope my suggestion helped to show that there was interest. Can’t wait to meet Suzette tomorrow at the RVT!

@insidethegroove A physical release would help a lot with the UK charts.

I think we’re about to witness the big difference between UK/US chart performance - we’ll probably see a chart fall in the UK very soon. I believe it’s already dropped to the mid 50s in the daily sales flash. But we’ll see a slow ascent in the US where radio play is more gradual.
