During Covid there was a trend of football fans asking their their non-football-fan relatives to name an XI of players they knew. It was a fun, silly game, so I asked my mum to do one because I missed her. Two years since her passing feels like a good time to share it. ❤️

Lots of talk about the Lacroix fee. I think it's a great price for a player who thrived in our system but is ultimately more limited than Palace fans like to admit. When you look at what we paid, what we won and what we're getting: great business.

@Kish_P14 Yeah clearly Xabi wants to play a 3 and for ML to play in the middle of it. So in theory that’s a win for them. I don’t really get the fume among Palace fans at the fee, it’s fine

@GoriliusMaximus he's been great for us, and presumably Xabi is going to play a back three which will suit him. But let's not pretend he doesn't have technical limitations

@ReubenPinder He is really underrated by palace fans I am actually shocked. His pace, recovery and anticipation has saved us so many times. But palace usually do the right thing in the end so in parish we trust.

@ReubenPinder @TalkCPFC From what I’ve seen he’s less dynamic than Munoz but plays the position in a different way (and obviously fairly successfully). Great at progressing the ball. Guessing we’d see him play RWB and RCB at different points, maybe left if needed too
