𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗻 Ever since Bible Society was banned from Iran in 1990, Nahid has been praying for a way to return. She's been sharing the Bible with Iranians around the world but dreaming of the day this will once again be possible in Iran. Today, the possibility seems closer than ever. ‘The bitter taste of yet another war is mixed with the sweet anticipation for peace (both inside Iran and for the region),’ Nahid says. ‘Iran is changing every day. It’s not how it was yesterday. It won’t be the same tomorrow. Very soon, I could be going to Iran to reopen Bible Society.’ READ MORE 👇 cstu.io/a30972

Last night my 12 year old granddaughter performed for the first time since her epilepsy diagnosis. Performing with her friend Delia at a local church, entertaining people from nursing homes with dementia. This is their performance of ‘what is this feeling’ from the musical WICKED. 🙋‍♀️Hello - Iranian here. For those fixated on 'legality' to excuse the regime in Iran - F*ck You. No, I will not let you be my voice. You don't get to narrate my story, you don't get to claim moral superiority. You don't get to tell me my feelings are wrong. Is it legal to throw women in prison for strands of hair? Is it legal to mass execute people? Is it legal to turn a fertile land into a parched desert? Is it legal to rape? Is it legal to shoot innocent people? Is it legal to kill children? Is it legal to torture people to death? Is it legal to spread terrorism? Is it legal to deprive people of a livelihood? Is it legal to shoot people in the eye to blind them? Is it legal to silence people and take away all of their human rights? Is it legal to shoot down a passenger plane? Is it legal to drive millions to leave their country? Is it legal to jail women for singing and dancing? Is it legal to disappear people including children? You will never experience anything like Iranians have experienced for the last 47 years. Iranians have fought barehanded and they've paid a price. All up to 1,000,000 (one million) Iranians have been murdered since the regime came to power. Your books on 'civil disobedience' and 'collective protest' are useless against an armed opposition that is ideologically driven and will kill all that stand in its way. You want legality? The world has a duty to protect innocent lives. It's enshrined in R2P. Some people seem to think Iranians aren't humans. The murder, genocide and massacre of Iranians receives scant media attention - hence scant sympathy. Those who proclaim to care about 'human rights' must think Iranians are animals and not worthy. Their hatred of Israel and US is so great they've lost all perspective. Yes, Iranians are happy. They're happy someone took out Ali Khamenei and many others directly responsible for so much pain and agony. And you know what? We're unashamedly hopeful that with the help of the world's superpower, we can reclaim our country and build a better tomorrow. We know there's a long way to go, but give us this brief moment of reprieve, because daily we sit and try to tell the story of the lives lost, those at risk of execution, those under torture. We've seen the pictures and videos of massacres taking place. Our dance and happiness comes with a heavy weight. We do so, in knowledge of the many who never lived to see this day. The day of freedom will come to Iran, it's glorious - and we're not sorry if some outside help contributed to making that happen. So don't speak on my behalf and stop excusing this regime on grounds of 'anti-colonialism'. and 'anti-Zionism'. #Iran

As airstrikes on #Iran begin, local Christians ask for urgent prayer. “As an Iranian and as a Christian, I speak with a heavy heart,” shares a local Open Doors partner. "I do not take lightly the suffering that war brings to ordinary families in Iran, in Israel and across the region. “Yet, if this painful moment becomes a turning point toward justice and true liberty, then my prayer is that it leads not to greater destruction, but to the restoration of dignity, hope and peace. “As followers of Christ, we pray for the protection of the innocent, for restraint among leaders, and for a future where Iran and the region may know freedom without fear. May God bring light out of darkness and peace out of turmoil.” Please join in prayer for peace, protection and a future characterised by light, hope and freedom for all. Read more: bit.ly/4seDmo3

Today is Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of the season of Lent. ✝️ At church services today, people will have a cross of ash marked on their foreheads, to symbolise mortality and repentance. Find a local service at AChurchNearYou.com/lentandeaster.

Yesterday, we witnessed the Gospel completing a full circle. For the very first time, the immediate past Christian leader of the Female Correctional Centre returned to the prison, not as an inmate, but as a preacher of the Gospel. Months ago, she worshipped, prayed, and led others within walls of the neighbouring facility while awaiting her own freedom. At our last crusade in the Female correctional facility, it was prophesied that she would soon be released. Shortly after that gathering, she walked out of the facility, not just free, but transformed. After nearly three months of silence, she reached out again, this time not for help, but to serve. Yesterday, she stood before the inmates and preached with clarity, humility, and authority. Her message was simple but profound: The place you are in does not have to define you. It can become the place where you find yourself again. She reminded them that confinement can become a moment of deep repositioning, time to reflect, to confront old patterns, and to allow genuine inner transformation to begin. She spoke about holding firmly to the Lord and yielding to the slow, faithful work of the Spirit while preparing for life beyond the gates. What made the moment especially powerful was not just what she said, but who she was. When the inmates realized she once sat in a neighbouring facility close to where they now sit, listening to what they now listen to, and prayed from the same place of uncertainty, the atmosphere shifted. They listened intently. They prayed deeply. Hope became tangible. This is what discipleship looks like. Not instant perfection, but steady transformation. Not condemnation, but obedience to Christ over time. Not merely release from a facility, but release from old ways of life. It was an amazing time at the Medium Correctional Centre with our beloved brethren there, continuing the work of teaching, praying, and walking alongside those God has not forgotten. We are grateful to Christ for the privilege of service and for the laborers He is raising, some of whom once received the message and now carry it themselves. Please keep us in your prayers, that the Lord will continue to send more labourers into places many overlook, but where grace is actively at work.

This is my amazing daughter Isabelle with one of her paintings. And I am so proud. The establishment wants us to reject beauty, reject God and be dependent on them and taxpayer grants. @bellespofforth makes her own way and paints as she wants. Students… find your own path, find your own way 🔥

The Armed Forces process following its outsourcing has become THE biggest problem facing recruitment. It’s a shambles. I myself fell field of it when attempting to rejoin the reserves. I was falsely put down as having signs of arthritis in my left knee, appealed it, but by the time the appeal was processed I was over 55. 39 years ago, the pr is was took 3-8 weeks. Now it’s 12-18 months. It needs dealing with.
Dave@DaveKent101

No wonder recruitment for our military is at a record low. Check out the extreme levels of farce this guy had to endure re his application to join. What an indictment of how useless our armed forces recruitment administration really is. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

@_HenryBolton To be honest, looking at the list of Conservative to Reform defectors, I suspect the Tories breathed a sigh of relief with each defection.

Why am I not convinced by these defections of former Conservative MPs to Reform? Are you? The more of them I see, the less convinced I am. Nadhim Zahawi says “the country is sick”. I strongly agree. The state is too large, too bureaucratic, and ministers need to be back in control. But recognising that does not make Reform the answer, and these defections do little to suggest otherwise. They look more like an attempt to damage the Conservative Party and manufacture the theatrical impression of continuing momentum. Some will say, “Reform is the only option.” It isn’t and, when you get to the ballot box it won't be. There are nearly four years until the next general election, and no one needs to make a decision now.

Evangelicals, join me in praying for the Iranian people as they courageously take a stand against the wicked regime in Tehran. Pray that the so-called “Supreme Leader” and everyone associated with him and loyal to him will be removed. Pray Iran experiences a new birth of freedom.

Tehran, right now. I wonder if we’ll look back on this as the dying days of a regime of the mullahs that lasted nearly half a century.

This is how the Lord’s Prayer sounds sung in Aramaic language. Aramaic is the closest known language to that which Jesus Christ Himself spoke. Beautiful.
