don't mind my quote-posting -- this illustrates a point I made or sometimes make of this 'community' being visibly "fractured" to newcomers. Why should they see it as such? Because it has been. *shrug* Fine for 90% of peepo, but it is. Say what you will! We're all grown adults!?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm really trying to return to being just me, genuine, warts and all. For a while since I first came into this fractured community I was "keeping up with the crowd" but in the past month or two, things are changing as I learn to go "I'm just me."

The biggest lesson I've learned is you don't need a place to belong. You have to accept yourself as you are, and do your thing. If people like ya they like ya, if they don't they don't. You don't need to join a bandwagon or have a huge friend group, online or off.
