Liam Kelly has agreed a two-year-deal at Rangers. STV Sport understands the keeper had interest from England and abroad but has chosen to stay at Ibrox.

Kamara scored 4 goals in the 21/22 season. If Raskin is a goalscoring midfielders with 4 goals in a season should he not be too.
Ryan Jack had seasons where he scored 4 and 5 goals back to back. Does he count?

Aribo & Raskin are goalscoring midfielders and Kent was a goal threat forward under Gerrard, under Gio he was instructed to stay wider.

"We believe that there are two key elements that he needs to succeed, and that would be a revamped squad, which is probably the most important thing, and a pre-season. @NotAndyFirth Why would you not count Kelly? You included squad players when talking about Advocaats teams.
The other issue is a lot of the guys you're mentioned were Scotland internationals. Most of the good Scottish international guys have no interest in playing for us

@Revan1872 In our first team squad we have Souttar and Barron. (I’m not counting our sub keeper). We regularly start games with no Scottish players at all.

Another point to take note of with Advocaat’s squad - we pulled in elite players from all over the world, but there was still a core of Scots. Barry Ferguson, McCann, Hughes, Dodds, Scott Wilson, Maurice Ross, Colin Hendry etc all had some role to play. We lack that now.

I honestly don’t think the younger generation of Rangers fans realise just how good Advocaat’s Rangers squad was. You’re talking literal world class players in some cases. If that squad played in today’s SPL they would have a good chance at winning 38 out of 38 games.

Just because they weren’t top scorer, doesn’t make it a false statement. The striker should always be the top scorer.

I'd take Ross Stewart, Lawrence Shankland and Oli McBurnie at Rangers. 100%. All 3 would run through fucking brick walls to score goals for us.
