I think the funniest part of this whole Vtuber paypig thing is the number of people trying to subtlety bring it up in hopes of getting their foot in the door WE ALL SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING

Question for #Vtubers and Vwatchers (idk if that's an actual term but I'm using it) As we all know, Vtubers debut new models and new outfits and new whatever all the time, but alot of us cannot due to financial issues/lack of new design/attachment etc. Is there ever a point in time where it feels/begins to become detrimental by NOT debuting something new (irrelevant of audience size, as I believe audience size plays a part in this too) I like to think that no, it won't be detrimental, but I also feel like with how commonplace it is for Vtubers to come out with new stuff, it sets an expection for others to follow suit, and if they can't then people may get bored/move elsewhere to newer shinier things. If I was to use myself as an example, I've had my model for almost 3 years now and have not been able to make any changes to it. I've had ideas for possible additions, as well as completely new model ideas, however due to financial limitations I am not able to bring them to life. On one hand, having these ideas supressed begins to make me feel like my model itself will become stagnant, and that viewers will see that and also feel the same way, moving on to other Vtubers with cool new designs/features etc. On the other hand, I believe people get attached to Vtuber models just as people do a normal fleshy streamer, and as such do not care whether the model ever changes/upgrades. Thoughts??? (and if we do think it's detrimental to have no model growth (for lack of a better word), is there anything that can be done to replace it?)
