Officers attended a collision between a car and a cyclist this morning near to Ham Gate in #RichmondPark resulting in the car leaving the road. The cyclist has facial injuries and has been taken to hospital. Injuries not life threatening.

@CyclingLawLDN @benjyminty @MPSRoyal_Parks My point being is your call for the party at fault to be banned. Assuming its the car, where as it could just as easy be the cyclist. I speak as both a cyclist and a driver I have had my front wheel wash out luckily it was on a cycle path.

@benjyminty @CyclingLawLDN @MPSRoyal_Parks Even at 15mph try driving a car over a metal bollard/fence. But you really need to wait for the police to investigate before jumping to conclusions. No one know who was the reason for the crash could have just as easily been the cyclist falling and car taking avoidance action
