Nothing worse than practicing off mats and having a false sense of striking the ball well. Comment “CAST” if you want a free video on how to strike the ball better. Then you hit it fat on the course, it could be because you’re casting the club to try and close it but that

Iran still laying mines even as they talk of opening the strait, even though it’s much harder to recover them especially when you are a country like Iran (at war at incompetent)… So no…I do not trust that they’re negotiating in good will The ceasefire was not a good idea
Jennifer Griffin@JenGriffinFNC

MORE details on US strikes vs Iranian targets today: 2 Iranian boats were caught laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, senior US official tells me. The US military eliminated both IRGC vessels and also struck at a SAM (surface to air missile) site in Bandar Abbas that was targeting US warplanes. “These were defensive strikes.” They do not indicate ceasefire is over, according to two well placed sources.

🚨After receiving a briefing from a Senior TRUMP Administration Official on the status of the Iran negotiations (someone in the know & not just speculating), I can tell you the following: -USA IS NOT GIVING IRANIANS MONEY FOR NOTHING. All speculation and propaganda to the contrary is false. Some hardline elements of Iran’s govt (IRGC) have pushed fake stories & propaganda to try to kill this negotiation. -Iran deal is NOT done (95%, but still haggling over some language). No deal being signed today. May be a few more days before this is done. -Iran will NOT get any money or sanctions relief up front. -Iran must turn over nuclear stockpile to get anything. USA position is that failure to meet deal commitments means Iran gets nothing. -Long term USA objective is preventing Iran from having nuclear weapon. -Initial deal point is to re-establish free flow of commerce by reopening Strait of Hormuz. Deal should have 2 phases: Step 1 - Open Strait of Hormuz. Give world economy breathing room. Iran agrees to give up enriched uranium. Step 2 - Get the nuclear material turned over. Only then can Iran get sanctions relief. Bottom line: goal is to make a deal that lowers costs for Americans, calms world energy markets, and guarantees that Iranians cannot have a nuclear weapon over the long term. We aren’t there yet. Iran takes forever to get you a response on even small things. But we are close although it still could be a few days. “If we get what we are demanding, this is going to be a historic deal,” SAO says. SAO sounds prepared to do no deal at all if all Iran will do is a “bad deal.” SAO admits deal could fall apart yet. But if a deal is reached, SAO expects very senior USA admin officials to take part in a signing ceremony of some sort. Iran has agreed in principle to the framework but there are still a couple points USA isn’t satisfied with. 95% done. But literally changing words sometimes requires days in Iran’s system. Haggling over language. But USA feels like we have a commitment on nuclear stockpile and on opening Strait of Hormuz. If IRAN doesn’t deliver on commitments, they get nothing. “Iran’s ability to project power is a lot more limited than it was two months ago,” SAO says. “Their industrial base for building ballistic missiles has been substantially destroyed.”

In other words, the war is over, we're stumbling toward some version of the JCPOA, America is out billions of dollars and lots of weapons that we didn't need to waste, and the United States is now weaker and Iran in a strategically stronger position. And for what?

@historigins So biased. This was done by Congress, who actually makes the budget. Why give Clinton credit? He was forced into this because he was backed into a corner and he lurch to the left from 92-94 had the Ds lose Congress for the first time in decades. ROFL

In 1998, the United States achieved its first federal budget surplus in 29 years, effectively ending a streak of deficits that had lasted since 1969. This milestone was achieved under President Bill Clinton, following the passage of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997, which resulted in a fiscal surplus of approximately $69 billion for that year.

@mcuban @lkraus01 If I wanted to start an independent MRI clinic in my country, the hospitals that own MRI machines could veto me buying a machine because of Certificate of Need. This is total BS and keeps prices artificially high. Once again, government pollutes the free market.

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?
Matthew Bednarik@BednarikMatt

@mcuban @GovBillLee Or just let the free market compete and get the government out of Healthcare. A free market would inevitably lead to lower costs for consumers.

@mcuban HAHA...if that happened, they'd all have massive layoffs of administrators and they'd have to lower the costs of care immediately.

2 POSSIBLE OUTCOMES: 1. Iran accepts Trump's off-ramp. He's already made SIGNIFICANT concessions to be able to walk away 2. Iran rejects it, Trump bombs them one last time to be able to declare 'victory', and leaves the rest of the world to clean up the mess Both options are terrible for the U.S. and their allies, but #2 is disastrous for Israel and the Gulf This war has been a generational win for Iran, China, and Russia, and one of the most damaging wars for U.S. hegemony in decades.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

UPDATE: I NO LONGER STAND WITH THIS STATEMENT I know I've been saying the war is over since Trump made the threats to 'wipe out Iran's civilization', and doubled down since as it became obvious Trump wanted to walk away But things have changed. The Iranian demands have gone from reasonable, to almost impossible for Trump to accept If the latest reports from Iran are true, Iran wants to: - Not concede on their ballistic missile program and proxy network (fair, expected) - Control the Strait of Hormuz and charge a fee, as well as ban some countries (maximalist, but workable) - According to Bloomberg: Reparations (This is impossible for Trump to accept) - Unfreezing of assets and lifting of sanctions BEFORE any negotiations on nuclear program (That's according to Iran's Fars. If true, that would be a deal breaker, as logically the lifting of sanctions was always a concession linked to the nuclear program, similar to the JCPOA) If the above reports are true, then the likelihood of war is even higher than 50%. However it's impossible to know what Iran's actual stance is, and which "conditions" are throw away terms. Either way, things are not looking good at all.

@49er_edits When I visited 49ers training camp in the early 80s, Tyler was the only player that wouldn't give us autographs (we were 12 and 13 at the time). He said "It's not my thing." My friend immediately commented to him as he walked away, "Is fumbling your thing then?" ROFL

Happy Birthday, Wendell Tyler! #Rams and #49ers Running Back A third-round pick out of UCLA in 1977, Wendell was a dangerous home run hitter for the Rams — leading L.A. to its first NFC title in 1979 and twice rushing for over 1,000 yards. In 1983, he moved up-coast to San Francisco, and in '84, rushed for a career-high 1,262 yards to help the Niners claim their second Super Bowl title.

The separation from reality in the Republican Party today - vaccines are poison; Iran can be conquered; January 6th was staged by Democrats - should really really worry people. These folks just aren’t fit to govern anymore.
Acyn@Acyn

Rep. Norman: January 6th was an issue that was made up in the first place. Reporter: Made up? Norman: That was a staged thing from day one. Reporter: The riot was staged? Your Republican colleagues barricaded themselves in their chamber. You think they were acting?
