In 1935 the L.C.C. decided to abolish duplicate street names across the capital – all 4,000 of them. This map of Soho was one of their ‘working documents’ and shows the renaming of Little Dean Street as Bourchier Street, a tribute to the vicar of St Anne’s. @LayersofLondon
