@VoteTimBarnes Good try, I suppose. But very unconvincing. Don't think anyone else would have used 'demanded' to describe your attitude! But let's run with it - either your government ignored you for many years, or your 'demand' came many years too late.

Sure. We demanded new legislation from the last Conservative government to allow for regulation of #pedicabs and made them take notice and make time for the Bill. We demanded. They listened. Change happened to the benefit of West End residents.

@MayorofLondon plans for Oxford Street West are filled with holes. The Labour Council signed the street over w/o demanding even the most basic plans on addressing issues from traffic through to crime. This week it voted against a fighting fund to challenge the Mayor’s plans.
