Six weeks of Bell’s palsy. I think I’m about 85%. Acupuncture really helping. But just did a work zoom for about 80 minutes and it feels like my face is tugging on itself. Almost there, but can’t tax it yet.
I have a decent number of followers, and more than a few may be readers for the Black List. So I’ve started using pseudonyms on my scripts when I submit them to the site so that people can judge me on my writing without being biased by my name. What do you guys think of this one?
So good news, my managers loved the story I pitched based on my Sunday night dream, they even have talent they want to attach that they believe is right for it. We're meeting Thursday to discuss the details and then I guess I'm gonna hopefully write the hell outta that sucker.
Bell’s palsy day 5: as a tourist in this world of your body not responding the way you tell it too… oh, how I admire those who’ve lived their whole lives with much more profound difficulty and much more grace.
Zoomers, I love you. But as I mentioned in the mass email I’m just unavailable to answer any of the 43 emails I’ve gotten since I got to London. I’ll be back in a week or so.
#Newbie wrote script, got name actors, manager &... project languished. BOOM! Manager got experienced producer w/ access to financing. Dream coming true & newbie? Imposter syndrome! Very normal feelings. Remember, all these people aren't attracted to a bad script. You're ready!
Happy #NewComicBookDay! So many cool new releases this week that I personally can't wait to read. But if you've not yet read HALLOWEEN TEAM (written by me, art by Matt Shults) then be sure to add it to your weekly comics haul. Fun, spooky adventure awaits.

EXIT INTERVIEW is out!
Thank you, @RexBressler, for this adventure - co-directing this with you was amazing, as is your constant friendship. The whole crew brought their a-game, and Rex and Sara’s layered, intense performances are a sight to behold.
EXIT INTERVIEW (directed by @RexBressler + @CedricGegel)
In a corporate theocracy, a woman taking part in an “exit interview” fights to prevent her early retirement.

A well-directed sci-fi with a sharp script by Rex Bressler and sterling performances.
Recently had the chance to check out a number of short films written by, directed by, and/or starring members of the #WritingCommunity, so thought I'd share my thoughts in a thread. Links to the videos are provided where available; take a few minutes to enjoy their work!
@CindyBegel It was the latest draft (of three) and it said that it's in the library of Congress, so I assume that it's the final shooting draft, but I dunno for sure
#Newbies Know you can make an app't at WGA Library & read scripts? TV & Film! 45K prod'cd scripts. Current & Vintage. Vid game scripts. Sit for hours lost in this magical creative world or work on your own future script perhaps 1 day to be enshrined. Online search for scripts too
@CindyBegel Absolutely! It's such a cool place and there's a fun energy, and the script I read is also notoriously different from the theatrical cut, which is also different from the director's cut, which is also different from the DVD cut
@RexBressler Ohh, I'm picturing and imagining a nice old original script of a great film in your hands. I'm sure you're thinking of things to ask for next time!
