@DutchRojas @linemonkeymd @FMAPAC 59,856 physicians report providing direct patient care in FL. $500/physician/yr = 30 million or 60 million every election cycle. 60M FAR eclipses physician adversaries total for lobbying & political action. @FMAPAC, the most successful state medical PAC in USA raises only ~2.7M

They don’t charge more because they’re better. They charge more because they can. Site-neutral payments are the line in the sand. Right now, two physicians can perform the exact same procedure, with the same outcomes, using the same implants… And yet the health system gets paid 3x to 10x more. Not because they offer more value. But because they lobbied for it. This isn’t innovation. It’s legalized margin inflation. Independent physicians are being punished for efficiency. Penalized for competition. And priced out of contracts not due to quality, but due to billing codes wrapped in political power. Site-neutral payments are not a “nice to have.” They are the bare minimum standard of fairness in a functioning market. If we don’t fight for this, we’re complicit in a rigged game where outcomes don’t matter and ownership is optional. Want to stay independent? Want to grow? Then this is your battle. Who’s ready to fight for site-neutrality and win? Let’s get loud. Let’s get organized. Let’s get aligned. DM me if your group is ready to fight… #healthcare

I’d say “dark times” but when you’re a long time fan of the #Canucks, it’s really just same shit different season.
