Michigan has been in a downward spiral ever since @gretchenwhitmer became governor in 2018. Let me put this into perspective for you going into the November election:
📉 Bottom 5 states in the nation (46th overall)
🛣️ 1 in 3 road miles still need major work
📚 4th grade reading proficiency fell to 24% — dead last tier nationally, despite years of rising per-pupil funding
💼 5th-highest unemployment rate in the country
💸 Whitmer’s biggest subsidy deals spent $1.8B and delivered just 602 jobs — $3M per job
👻 3,327 “ghost employees” cut from the 2026 budget
🏠 1.6M households — 40% of Michigan families — can’t afford the basics
🚨 11th-highest violent crime rate in the nation, 21% above the national average
🎓 Up to 6,000 college graduates leaving the state every year
🏭 27,600+ manufacturing jobs lost since 2019 — 3rd worst in the nation
⛽ Gas tax nearly DOUBLED — from 26.3¢ to 52.4¢ per gallon since she took office
🏠 Property taxes up 22% after inflation — and climbing every year
8 years. This is the record.

I was on the plane! Seated. Seat belt on and ready to go when they announced that it was cancelled and everyone needed to go to the AA desk to rebook. It was a mad dash but they did it all behind the scenes and I got text messages with the rebooked flight info. I was fortunate as I got a flight the next morning. Some didn’t go out until two days later.

@RexPlease It’s maddening. We thought we had a free afternoon in Key West before catching a red eye home. As soon as we sat down for a beer at Margaritaville we got texts that there was a delay which would cause a missed connection.
It all went downhill from there.

We made the unfortunate mistake of flying RT to FL on AA recently. Delayed 24 hours returning home because of “mechanical issues,” for which we were at least comped a hotel room for the night.
Hotel shuttle driver said they see AA vouchers every day at that hotel.
Never again.

Implying that Israel is the reason Americans don’t have schools or healthcare is a reformulation of blaming Jews for all of society’s problems. American military aid to Israel mostly goes into purchases from American companies. The money is not sent abroad. By the way, Hamas started the war with Israel by murdering over 1000 people and taking hundreds hostage. No court has deemed it a genocide. Hope that helps!
