I don’t share this for praise or affirmation… I share it because someone out there might see it and find the courage to take their first step toward freedom. Eight years ago, I had a “picture perfect” marriage. I also hated myself. I truly believed I was the ugliest, fattest, most ungrateful wife alive. I was fed so many lies that I started believing them, and convinced I deserved them. Not all abuse is visible… not all abuse is physical… Yesterday was the 8-year anniversary of finally saying enough and I forgot the date!!! #healed Since then, God has rebuilt me, physically, mentally, and most importantly, spiritually. Leaving took more faith than anything I’ve ever done. By the grace of God, and with a whole lot of His help, I rebuilt my life… from housewife to Pheasant Babe. 😁 If He can do it for me, He can do it for you.
