Are we not doing public decency any more? Is homophobic slurs on a T-shirt “freedom of expression” in a work environment? Is blackface just freedom again? Please recognise the tension between freedom of expression - and pro social behaviour. This lecturer is not merely expressing himself. He is riding roughshod over all reasonable decency boundaries, insulting women - and people’s intelligence - and genuinely *taking the P* Can you not use “freedom of expression” gibberish here because it makes you look grossly anti social. Unless… you are grossly antisocial. 🤷‍♂️ I don’t think Neil is antisocial but again the inconsistency exists. If man mocks women - it’s freedom of expression. If it’s race or something else don’t try to tell me it’s freedom of expression. It’s a man in giant fake t*ts for goodness sake. It’s not appropriate in public.
