Just one game in the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 this morning as several sides were in cup action. Whinney Hill strengthened their hold on third place with an away win at SRDC (Purples).
𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗻𝗲 leaders Astley & Buckshaw Utd suffered a home defeat to Rufford Park Rangers, opening the door for Wyresdale Rangers to close to within three points at the top of the ladder. Wyresdale ran out 3-0 winners at Fishwick Rangers. Lonsdale Casuals beat bottom side Theatre Boys and the only home win of the four played in the division saw Sir Tom Finney 2-1 winners against Fylde Coast Football.
Much like in Division One, the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘄𝗼 leaders Burscough Villa were on the receiving end of a loss - they were defeated 3-0 at Cottam Town. AFC Preston (Reds) are now just two points adrift after they won away at Midgery Court. FC Bartle inflicted defeat on SRDC (Blues), while Chorley Wanderers drew 2-2 with Bamber Bridge Town.
Gregson Lane came back from 2-1 down at the break to earn a 4-4 draw with Penwortham St Teresa's (Yellows) in a top of the table clash in 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲. St. Annes (Rangers) missed the chance to climb into third, they lost at home to BAE Warton and Sporting Preston won 3-0 against Tarleton Corinthians at Ribbleton Park. There were goals galore as St Anthony's overcame Ashton Villa 8-4, Kirkham Seniors earned a hard-fought 2-1 win away at Worden Rangers.
Penwortham St Teresa's (Whites) maintained their 100% record in 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 with a 5-1 win at home to FC Friargate in a top-versus-bottom clash. Penwortham St Teresa's (Blues) won 6-2 at AFC Sherwood, Buckshaw were 3-1 home winners against Adlington and Ribbleton Athletic earned three points versus AFC Bamber.
Some images attached of the three games to take place at a blustery Worden Park - Buckshaw vs. Adlington, Worden Rangers vs. Kirkham Seniors and Chorley Wanderers vs. Bamber Bridge Town.

Ribbleton 4-2 @fc_friargate
Opening game of the season sees us take the top spot, sloppy first half but the lads soon picked it up in the 2nd and took control of the game, finishing with a comfortable win
