@AdamjNPA Yes, that's very true. The longer time passes, the fewer remember and actually have seen these players play anything. I think about that often, I certainly wish there was more footage of that time period. But definitely understand it. Especially now, with people being so visual.

@RicEllis88 At this point he played over 100 years ago, no one at this point was alive to have seen him or keep him in discussions, Ruth is only cause he was a Yankee which is why he’s still brought up and Rose obviously a lot of people remember. Some day people will do the same to Gwynn..

I used to love it and I'd watch it quite often, but all the lies about Cobb now make it unwatchable. Just recycled negative talk that went on for years which unfortunately molded fans' opinions on Ty. Films like this & Stumps books absolutely killed the reputation of Cobb.

Little Danny (9) had his first travel ball game(s) yesterday. He's learning a ton and he had fun. I wanted him to branch out a little and get some more experience.
Game 1: 1-3 with a double, RBI

@AdamjNPA Exactly right. He gets bypassed a lot when it comes to records and whatnot, I feel like after Rose beat his hits record nobody gave him a second thought within the game. But the fact remains he has so many other records and absolutely dominated in his time, prior to Ruth.
